Say Just Words began their audio assault on an unsuspecting market in 2007 with their self released album A Dark Desire Machine. Later in 2010, they released their 2nd self released album called The Shadow Of The Chaos. Say Just Words were picking up momentum and gaining a rather loyal international following. Soon, they started doing remixes for some of the biggest names in the EBM/Industrial world such as C-Lekktor,Stahlnebel & Black Selket ,Dolls of Pain, Freakangel, and Larva. Their hard work and persistence had finally paid off, when in 2011, Engraved Ritual signed them to their first label deal with  The Perfect Killer EP. Say Just Words was now becoming a household name. Most recently, in 2012, due to the success of The Perfect Killer EP their new North American label Engraved Ritual, decided to put together a collection of some tasty selections from " The Perfect Killer EP" and some brand new songs appropriately titled "Screams In The Darkness: A Collection". This album was to christen their rebirth on the Engraved Ritual label.

Now that you are up to speed, I'm getting a little ahead of myself, so let's look back at the record that first caught the attention of Engraved Ritual, The Perfect Killer EP. This clever, 14 track album sized EP, is a real powerhouse. If you are going to launch an unknown band into a new market, this would be the album to do it with. Strap yourselves in and prepare for a turbo charged, non stop ride. Hard hitting sonic beats, swirling synths and harsh, growling vocals set amongst a dark and ominous landscape, pretty much sets the tone for the overall duration of this epic recording. DJ's and dance floor whores alike will delight in the selection of high octane, Hi-NRG dance tracks to choose from. This is my first experience with Say Just Words and just like Reaxion Guerrilla, I am an instant fan. Unlike a lot of mundane EBM artists, there is no filler tracks or disappointments here, just pure, enjoyable electro brilliance. Just when you think it couldn't get any better, throw in an A List set of remixers on this incredible package like Reaxion Guerrilla,C-Lekktor and Die Braut,(to name a few) and you got yourself one hell of a mighty EP!  I would love to see them take their first 2 self released albums mentioned here earlier and make one killer retrospective CD.
