"Just simply a breath of fresh air! "Words Once Said" consists of a fair round out of hedonistic scenerios with robotic and bouncy beats generating a stark electro pop vibe. As their songs roll with plenty of warmth and mechanical sensuality led by female vocals the retro comparisons can be put to the side for Celluloide's emphasis on new technology and singing in both English and their native French too. Personally, not one track lacking any real quality or charm but some of my personal favorites include"Synchronize", "Two Fridays a Week", "Show me the Way", "Remorse", "Talk to Me", "I Missed You",and "This Aching Kiss". With their tight production values Celluloide have outdone themselves once again. This comes highly recommended to fans of Ladytron, The Azoic, D. Pressive, etc. Also be sure to check out the "Synthetique" compilation from France's Boredom Productions as it features plenty of new and up coming talent from the French synth and electro pop scene. Just brilliant!"
