Reviews CD Reviews Synthpop, New Wave Thee Hyphen- Consolidated Green

Artist: Thee Hyphen
CD Title: Consolidated Green
Label: Boredom Productions
Reviewer: Marcos Masarri
Date: 1/12/05

"A very cool electro pop act coming from France who provide hard hitting cold electronics fronted by emotional male vocals. There's plenty of dancefloor material here and not unlike some of "A Different Drum's" current artist roster. While not becoming totally stale and cliche, they do tend to experiment around their songs generating an eclectic blend of introspection and dance euphoria. Highly recommended to dj's and for fans of Psyche, Neuroactive, Macando, etc. Stand out's include "Hear the Noise", "Inflame", "Industrial Suicide", "Politics of Promises", "Only Obsession", and "Lobotomy. Rock on!" -Marcos
