Revolution State is set to debut their first full-length album,Viridian Resonance  on April 12th 2011.  And the 5 years of effort that went into this album is apparent.   From start to finish Viridian Resonance encapsulates the best aspects of every form of industrial music released in the past 10 years.

Revolution State combines the latest in musical technology with vintage musical equipment and the philosophies of the now disbanded Viridian Design Movement, to create an album that has club appeal, relaxing atmospheric qualities, and thought provoking lyrics.   The opening track Rooms of my Past has a Die Form feel to it, but removes a lot of the jarring beats and discordian vocals that embody that particular influence.   Moving onward the album smoothly transitions from this older atmospheric feel into a more futuristic dance floor focused sound.  Tracks like Viridian, No Kami, and Manufactured Idol, bring the tempo up, but keep the soothing whispered vocals of the less dance focused tracks.  Songs like Bit Lip and Where Am I, close out the album taking Viridian Resonance down a decidedly more experimental and chaotic path.  The closing tracks are evocative of early Attrition mixed with Tangerine Dream with the organic and electronic elements clashing but doing so beautifully.

From start to finish Viridian Resonance is a flawless album and the efforts of the labor placed into it are obvious.  Fans of Leather Strip, Die Form, and Wumpscut are heavily encouraged to check out Revolution State if they have not already.
