Reviews CD Reviews (EBM, Electro, Electronica) In Strict Confidence- Exile Paradise

Artist: In Strict Confidence
CD Title: Exile Paradise
Label: Metropolis Records

In Strict Confidence is one band who has been around for a long time. During their days on the now defunct Zoth Omog to their present home on Metropolis Records. ISC returns with their latest album, Exile Paradise. This album somewhat picks up where Holy left off. Much of the tracks are slightly mellow and often at times sound like early ISC. This album was a bit difficult to listen to. It wasn't as enjoyable as Mistrust the Angels or Love Kills. There wasn't that many club friendly tracks either, however an exemption is "fading light." Tracks like "forbidden fruit" "winter moon" and "regicide" just seemed more like chill out tracks. It seems that ISC isn't quite sure what direction they are heading. Hopefully the next album will not be as bland as Exile Paradise.
