MONDTRAUME consists of Pikotto Vond Mond and Damasius Venys, two dashing lads from Spain who undeniably work well with one another, so much indeed that in only a few years after several songs on compilations, and live shows they were picked up by the label Alfa Matrix where we now turn to the present day.

Many fellow fans have compared them to acts such as Wolfshiem, Namnambulu, Diorama, Mesh, and even Beborn Beton. So let’s get down to business and check this out!

Taking us into a journey that seems to flow flawlessly from one song to the next we have Mondtraume's album Empty that cultivates much feeling and mood with this project that we have began to indulge ourselves within itself. If futurepop/synthpop with a touch of darkness is your game then I suggest you check this album out.

Tracks that really stood out for me would first be the song Broken Wings that starts out with a nice piano line as the airy overflow of the pad drips its color throughout this piece of art, interlocking with all of the standout synth, and dramatic vocal work. A superb track that could both be fitting in the club as well as in the bedroom just closing your eyes and drift away with this sound that can also equal up to the perfect nights soundtrack for the evening. Staying with this mood, fallowing we have the track Empty that fills us with the music of an airy pad and piano slowly building threw out the song with soundscapes and cinematic fx all coming together to show off another great piece of work.

Keeping with the over view of tracks that stand out we come across Far from Pain that starts off with a very future pop sound that at first might sound familiar between other artists but alas as the chorus builds we have an amazing piece here that turns out to be one of my top favorites on this album and could really see this piece of work being played in a chill club setting.

All in all this is a very great album that shows many different paths to take. There are defiantly some very great club tracks hidden in this album as well as perfection overall that can be listened from front to back flawlessly. Thank you Mondtraume for this amazing album before I call it a night!
