Artist: Aesthetische
Album: HybridCore
Label: Alfa Matrix
Genre: electronic / EBM / dark electro
Release Date: April 19th 2014
Last year, Aesthetische released the EP Statement / Amplitude Zero, which got positive reviews here over at Grave Concerns. Now they are back with their full-length album HybridCore, and we are not disappointed with the album at all. The new album also features the participation of female American singer Mari Kattman from Day Twelve and German artist Diana S. from Junksista – expanding the range of sounds beyond what we heard on Statement / Amplitude Zero.
Aesthetische is the project of renown Brazilian artists Fab Viscardi and Gui Pires, who have been pushing out club hit after club hit. HybridCore is only the second full-length album of Aesthetische, but they've already delivered a great number of club hits, and the previous experience of Fab and Gui shines through every chord and every beat. The production level is sublime.
By all means, HybridCore is aimed at being played in clubs, with its layers of EBM, trance, electro and other influences. Melodic and recognizable, the tracks on HybridCore are ready to become instant hits on the darker dancefloors. HybridCore sounds very actual as well, with its dubstep rhythms here and there, The track “One in this World” with Mari Kattman on the other hand pulls back to the past of Fab and Gui and brings us a typical 90s vibe.
Enough talking/writing for now – just get HybridCore by Aesthetische and start dancing. Fun guaranteed!
