A bit about Komor Kommando
Seb Komor has looked at the night clubs across the world- and found something missing.
"I got tired of hearing club music thinking that I could make this harder or that it needs more kick", says Komor, arguably the most prolific producer & creator behind some of the most notable acts in today's electronic music, including ICON OF COIL, ZOMBIE GIRL, BRUDERSCHAFT and MOONITOR among others. "I thought, I want to make club music that people will lose their minds to and basically scream, stomp and go absolutely insane! Losing it while testing the sound systems, you know?"
So begins his tongue-in-cheek vision of KOMOR KOMMANDO, Seb's party yet political answer to underground club music. And in bringing the true club experience to a live audience, what better person to help bring this unique live set to the masses than with the world's no. 1 Industrial club music DJ?
Servus Pulsu
This track has serious connotations and quickly bursts into a festering and sonic beat/rhythm extravaganza. It sounds like the start of a nightmarish journey into the occult which isn’t a bad thing as it is something else I have a leaning towards.
Cardiovascular System Check
Into yet more extremes this track follows and takes you on a mind altering journey of pulsating rhythms and an industrial hyper tension of brooding. Definitely gets the blood tingling around the system for sure. The ambience is quite a malevolent force that stake its claim on the senses with so much more to feast on – most definitely one engaging track.
Servus Pulsu [Symphonic Version]
This is much darker, it gathers its brutal force with a battering of drum beats that are accompanied by haunting synth. Using male and female vocals portraying a fierce and overwhelming imagination. It is very neatly put together and holds muscular rhythms that flourish as the track gains momentum. This is most definitely a crafted track that is sculpted using a variety of instruments such as piano and violin and just like a sword has rather sharp edges.
Servus Pulsu [Red Mix by INERTIA]
This is however more up my street with a vibrant bubbling of synth that is carried along on a monotone drum beat. It simply commands the body to move as it just obeys the rhythmic signal sent out to the aural. It possesses jagged synth notes and wiry rhythms and then plunders into a classical feel as it is once more joined by a sizzling rhythm and pulsating beat – highly hypnotic and mesmerising.
To Sum up
This is one strong E.P all four tracks house an eerie presence that simply possess the soul and will no doubt possess the body too as the rhythms take hold. It has a very forceful and powerful attitude that does not like to loosen its grip for a second. Once the realisation creeps in which is very early on in the E.P it’s too late - you will be hooked - This uncompromising and euphoric E.P definitely means business.
