Schallfaktor is not your typical EBM band that you can put in the same category as Grendel, God Module, and “SITD. “Sittenverfall” is their latest album which makes it their second full- length album (previously released one album and an EP). The first track on the album “Glaskastentraum” is a pretty nice track without adding anything new and or out of the ordinary. One thing I did notice is a horrible effect the singer has on his vocals which really brings the song down. For me, that is a major problem for all the songs on this album. When it comes to the music it sounds really good and well produced like “EBM” should sound. There are a couple of really good tracks that will probably work on the dance floors in “electro” and “industrial” clubs. “Promiskuitiv” and “Suicide Confession” are two really good tracks that sound very inspired by the band “Grendel”. This is a decent album if you into typical “EBM” with nothing weird and creative, just simple aggressive dance music.
