Lost Area from Germany somewhat reminds me of Blutengel, but without the silly lyrics about blood and vampires. Perhaps it’s the great mixture between female and male vocals together with well composed beats and sounds that draw me towards that conclusion. Even though Chris Pohl has a tendency to be able to make more memorable songs, Lost Area is doing very well.

Even though they do not manage to fulfil all the 15 tracks on this album (13 if you exclude the remixes), you still have some great tracks with “Man Machine”, “Amnesia”, “Figure” and “Unborn” to mention some of them. If you are keen on heavy beats mixed with some pop layers, check this out!
