We've all gotten the general idea behind Wumpscut, and it's a "Some get it some don't" kind of formula. They are kind of like the Manowar of industrial: plenty of talk about war, killing, etc. with a definitive cheese factor. But then again, like Manowar, it's their music that seperates them from the cliche that marks them. Rudy's got some incredible talent, as was proven with "Embryodead" and "Bunketor Seven", and classics like "Music For A Slaughtering Tribe", but his idea well seems to have run dry after a few albums when it came to concepts. This one does seem more like a concentrated effort than the last few CDs, but it's pretty standard Wumpscut we've all come to know and love (or for those who haven't heard their first 4 CDs, hate), and more standard fare for the Wumpscut Troopers out there, with a little bit more emphasis on the atmosphere versus blistering beats this time around.
