Lady Gaga’s “The Fame Monster” is the follow-up to the chart topping “The Fame”.  The new release offers eight new powerful melancholic pop tracks made for the dance floor. The Fame Monster picks up where “The Fame” left off in some ways like musically, but the albums theme is more about the fear of things in Lady Gaga’s world, hence the album cover.  Some of her fears expressed through her songs are, the fear of death monster, and the fear or sex monster. According to Lady Gaga, even though it is only 8 tracks long it is a full complete work and idea. There are plenty of songs that probably will be climbing the charts like “Alejandro,”  “Bad Romance”, Dance in the Dark”, and Telephone where Beyoncé is a guest vocalist.  These four songs are my early bets to be big hits.   All I can say, is no bother Lady Gaga in the club, ok, just let her dance and she doesn’t want to be bothered. So, you know, she lost her phone in the club and she is not going to answer it either now when she is out in the club. What I like about Lady Gaga, is that she can get away with being a little freaky, have dual personalities and can be over the top with her videos and performances and still make electro-pop appeal to the masses.  It is funny to see the young teenagers really into this type of electro-pop, but they probably don’t even know what is really out there electronically deep in the underground. I am sure they are not listening to VNV Nation, or Combichrist. I wonder if any of them will notice any of the Industrial and Goth beats within this CD, like I did?  When you listen to tracks like, “Alejandro”, or “Dance in the Dark,” it is really is great synth programming . Redone returns with production on the first single, “Bad Romance”.  I really liked the Spanish twist with “Alejandro”, it is sassy, and the chorus with “Ale-ale-jandro -Ale-ale-jandro is great, my Spanish class loves it! Way to go Lady Gaga with keeping the 80’s and synthpop, glam alive with a new modern twist.   Lady Gaga to me is like the new Madonna of the generation.  I am looking forward to future recordings and to see what is next from this Italian girl from New York.  The new CD comes out on November 23, 2009. In fact, the album will be released in three different configurations in the U.S. The Fame Monster Deluxe Edition, also out November 23, will include the eight new tracks along with the entirety of her debut album, The Fame, and will feature a brunette Gaga on the cover. On December 15, the Super Deluxe Fame Monster Bundle will arrive, and that will contain all of the above tracks, as well as a "Book of Gaga" containing many goodies, including photos, a puzzle, paper dolls, and a much-talked-about lock of hair from one of her wigs.  Ok, got that?
