Paul Rijnders delivers what I I’d call one of the best albums of ’08 with his latest release “It Was Dark for So Long We Thought We Were Dead”. I could talk about just how well the songs are written… I could also talk about the way the songs are so brilliantly composed… But, I think the thing that really jumped out at me was the sincere emotion of the vocals. They really jumped on me from song to song rather it be the clever dance track “Machu Picchu”, the edginess of “Dead bee”, or the hauntingly beautiful track called “Cybershadows”. You need to get this album and play it very loud so your neighbors can share in the experience. Available NOW at www.adifferentdrum.com
