The world of hard electro noise is a fascinating genre of music. It can either be pleasing or a annoyance. As a fan of all types of hard electronic music, I enjoy it. This brings me to introduce C/A./T, a interesting electronic project put together by Ben Arp, who also runs the Crunch Pod label. The Rouge Pair EP takes tracks from the previously released Prisoner album. The tracks on this EP are more harder sounding and remixed for the dance floor. Power noise, hard industrial, whatever you want to call it, I can guarantee you that this cd is not weak. With tracks like "the rogue pair(v.1)" and "enhancer", the hard pounding beats and the intense rhythms never stops, and also perfect for the dancefloor.Also included on this EP are remixes by Terrorfakt, Caustic, Endif and Manufactura. Of all the remixes, I particularly enjoyed the Manufactura mix of "the rogue pair." After listening to this cd, I am very eager to see what C/A/T will do next.
