A very influential project, the Slovenian based musical existence of Borghesia can be dated back to the tender age of 1982 consisting of the ever-so-talented creators Dario Seraval, and Aldo Ivančič. Laying down the 16^th release we have And Man Created God which was great to see being released under Metropolis Records. So let’s get started to ride through this immense journey of an album.

The cleansing of the system, the acknowledgment of slave to power, the existence to survive, all words standing strong to commence the story unfolding on the first track, We Don’t Believe You. A very dry nihilistic feeling of truths of the world told through an almost folk like chant along the barren deserted road of truths and lies while the over ringing battered and torn acoustic guitar chimes threw the wind as if marching alone amongst the world to set the story straight.

What seems as if standing at the end of the road, with a feeling of hopelessness and despair we hear the sound of C'est La Guerra gathering speed while the chanting of mid tempo vocals rings through progressing both vocally and musically into a triumph of sorts claiming what we own and taking back what is ours, when suddenly we hear the taunting chorus chiming in with We Are Nobody reminding of our stance in this journey. To push the boundaries through the world as the melody drifts into a calm and soothing resting place shortly into the middle of this track but as soon as we thought things were safe the clouding audio of sirens ring out in the sky. The battalion of saints prepares for the ongoing march slightly playing louder and more rhythmic like trance of the drums as marching into war with society, and especially in ourselves. Truly an amazing track.

Taking a bit away from the progressed visions that were untold we reach the track My Life Is My Message. Although a well done track with a message and lyrical ability that goes fine with the first couple tracks and as talented as ever, but out of this album, this is the only one I just couldn’t get into it.

Kaufen Macht Frei sets the time as the clock ticks, the games are still being played in the corporate world and the cash still rings. This track is much more melodic and a chill track concentrating on the smooth vibe of the guitar work in conjunction with the sooth percussion flowing between verse and chorus intertwining male and female incorporated vocals collaborating perfect in the mix.

Leading into this track194 with an intro that gives much vision of a gathering ground to march into protest and speak the word of injustice. This single has taken all the mass frustration that has built up where we are and led towards a very hard political geared track with chanting and preaching problems with certain areas of the world that fits right in with Borghesia's style.

Profit Power and Lies also sets the resonant force and impact of politically charged aggression still staying strong carrying forth a powerful, simplistic beginning with the war shouts slowly progressing into the power brought forth with a combination of the resonant grit of guitars, minimal synth work embodying the structure of this track, the bell like calls of free will, and symphonic nature of this track is another powerful melodic piece fitting in just nicely amidst this album.

Para Todos Todo shows off a vast array of musical talent including wind instruments, guitar, synths all coming together to what could be pictured perfectly alongside a movie and very reminiscent in vibe to My Life Is My Message.

Too Much is Not Enough scratches through the rules and kicking back into a more electronic ebm/industrial vibe progressing into a “broken beat” type of feel. A little different in music compared to a lot of the other tracks on this album but still staying true to the conveyed image and audio aesthetic of the musical talent.

The dry ambiance of the pad Shoot At The Clock has no problems with chiming into what seems like an experimental electronic track still fitting into this album perfectly.

In summary, things in this vast array of musical talent set forth in many different combinations of style from folk to wind instruments and industrial. With the main theme of injustice, protest, and political movement set at the foreground. One thing is for certain that Borghesia has a message that will engulf you from the first track to the last.
