When visions of glam, industrial, edm, and death metal collide we are pleased to say that Aeryn Sin holds the heavy weight belt...okay, okay, maybe that might be by default as I haven’t seen a cage match just yet but nonetheless we are greeted with an album that infuses many different styles and really just doing their own thing which I always praise high and artistically speaking, love to hear new ideas brought to the ring. Definitely here to make his mark and captivate his audiences attention by shining through the masses let’s take a glimpse on what beholds further on [insert coin here].

A charged up version of synthpop infused with many aspects of industrial rock, the first track [insert coin here] may start off with a slow pace, placing Aeryn Sin's amazingly vocal work high, clear, and mighty amongst the breakdown infused synth work but don’t let that fool you into this “sexual juggernaut” (yes thank you Aeryn Sin for that lovely term) that relentlessly builds and unfolds into the many different faces that we will hear of plenty in the upcoming tracks.

A fitting title for the intro of this track, we have Eat You Alive that almost instantly starts off with a very nice moving chorus that slowly wraps itself down into the verse and back again into this industrial, glam, and metal injected track. This track is full of key variations, chorus, and verse sections that all came together to execute another piece of work leaving just where we left off. The vocal style shows a very strong presence amongst this track with either being too strong or too little in the mix sitting in place perfectly.

Starting off with a little muted chord/lead guitar line dropping right into Born for Breaking Hearts, we hear a lot of synthpop/rock influence but don’t let that fool you. This is yet another perfectly fitting song amongst the others slipping nicely right in.

Don’t think for a minute you won’t hear that glitchy, noise intro that seems to be a staple for the beginning of these tracks...because you will. In fact on The Truth you'll also notice a more melodic approach then an over powering chorus line that throws in some synth lead lines for good measure. Although there are parts here and there that don’t quite seem just right, or quantized wrong but maybe that’s just me.

Putting the same force and drive in what we are accustomed to, we have Confused that packs a lot of melodic guitar, and drum work but still shines with integrity and force given by Aeryn Sin's vocals that seem to sweep and sway around the percussion.

Starting off with what sounds like a dirty filtered synth piece is, Money, Money, Money. Keeping completely true to Aeryn Sin's style and never changing throughout this album this was a great way to end, and a perfect way to start and shine into the future.

Overall, Aeryn Sin truly is doing their own thing and with production quality to rank high to boot. As I always state many times, I appreciate that so much and staying true to their own style from one song to the next is an amazing thing to hear. And if Aeryn Sin keeps up with this, you will not hear the last of them.
