Aengeldust is the solo-project of Nadine "Cooraz" Engel, whom we know from the industrial act Acylum. With Dancefloor Killer, we get an album that does what its name promises: stomping beats, harsh industrial and a killing vibe for hitting the dancefloor.

The reputation of Aengeldust is that this is the hardest and loudest project from the German gang recording on the Belgium-based label Alfa Matrix. They describe themselves as: “ pure dancefloor devastating walls of sound injecting tortured German vocal samples and harsh manipulated vocals into this extreme hard industrial hammering sonic assault” and I couldn't have describe this in any better way.

Dancefloor Killer is a 17-minute-long EP that announces Aengeldust to the industrial community. It features the title track “Dancefloor Killer”, “Bloodsport” (short cut and :Wumpscut: remix) and “Timewarp”.

While the EP is relatively short, it makes me curious to see what more Aengeldust has to offer. Nadine "Cooraz" Engel has a talent for making fierce electronic industrial – and Dancefloor Killer is indeed ready to be played in all the darker clubs out there.
