There’s nothing like some real good German Industrial to get your spirits up. Fans of KMFDM, Rammstein, and Wumpscutt, rejoice, as this 3^rd album by Eisbrecher could very well have them mentioned in the same sentence with those German greats soon.

This is straight-at-you Industrial, complete with the German gruff vocals, heavy guitars, and catchable hooks. It’s an album that is a very good listen to, throughout.  Nothing about it grates or annoys, as some of the heavier Industrial, if one is not used to it, would find.  The craftsmanship as far as the instruments is well played, with nothing sounding forced, or with the listener feeling like they are overpowered.  It’s as if the album takes you on a trip, with each song just bordering on IDM, but staying true to it’s heavy Industrial roots. The remixes on this CD though will give the DJ what they would definitely want for a nice IDM German feel.  As an IDM fan myself, this would have been rated as very solid as it is; the remixes are something that are worth listening to over and over though, and it takes it from just being a CD for Hard Rock purists, to an added level for the Club DJ.

Overall, this is one I would suggest to those that like to rock out more than dance out, though there are a few tracks a DJ could tap into (“Kuss” to name one)  if they so pleased. Don’t speak Deutsch?  Not to worry, just put this on, and enjoy a very solid release by this up-and-coming band, and let’s hope they are sticking around for a while
