Abscess is a very good band and produce an interesting mix of death metal and punk with the former taking the wheel. The bottom line is that if you love death metal and its subject matter you must check out Abscess. The guitar team of Bower and Corales is a great one and really have a dirge to their sound that makes me wish I was buried alive (that's a good thing). I suggest putting on Abscess' latest release, turning it up and watch Uwe Boll's movie "Seed" with the sound down. The only negative thing I would have to say is that they do not offer anything groundbreaking or new, but as time goes by, that will become more difficult for all of us.
