Artist: Necrodeath
Album: 100% Hell
Label: Scarlet Records

I followed Italy’s Necrodeath up until the 1999 release of “Mater of All Evil” and then didn’t hear anything of them really up until now. They released a couple albums in between then and now and I was hoping when I got a copy of “100% Hell”, that this would come close to touching their earlier releases. Of course there will never be another “Into the Macabre” from these guys but “100% Hell” does come close to “Mater of All Evil”. Flegias, whose vocals I’ve always enjoyed, sound killer on this album. Peso’s drumming is, as always, excellent. The guitar tracks were handled by Andy who replaced longtime guitarist Claudio and John handled the bass lines. Though not as aggressive as past albums, this is a good release. Worth buying if you like good melodic black/thrash.
