Ikon- Psychic Vampire

On the first cd are 3 versions of Psychic Vampire. THIS new song and all the remix versions on it are HOT! I am an old skool fan of Chris McCarter's band IKON. Years later IKON is still turning out gothic dance tunes that rock my socks off. This song is dancy, gothy and sexy. A must have for the goth/EBM dj's! The extras on this mini cd are fab too....a live version of Subversion (an IKON great) and Joy Division classic- Ceremony. Simply awesome!!! Cd part 2...is equally as terrific. IKON still has that old school flavor that I love. "Blue Murder" and "A Heartless soul" embody the goodness of old skool goth, with dance elements and Chris McCarters vocals are still tops. The guitar playing is very mid 80s goth and the sound is fresh, updated and true to what IKON turns out. The sound is crisp, very well produced and mastered. Crucify is absolutely beautiful in it's simplicity and the other few tracks are enjoyable as well.
