Reviews CD Reviews Gothic Faith and The Muse- The Burning Season

  Artist: Faith & the Muse
CD Title: The Burning Season

It's always an honour to review a cd by a band you soo passionately love. As a longtime fan of Faith & the Muse...when i heard that The Burning Season was being released this past July...I was besides myself with glee. I was not disappointed as Monica and William's music keeps continuing to grow but the FATM flavour remains. Visions, In the The Amber and The Burning Season are my personal faves as they have the FATM flavour I soo personally love. But the album whams me with Bait & Switch...a gothic/ethereal dance...almost hissy fit like. It's a 1 minute song that goes right into Sredni vashtar...a pleasant surprise of fast drums and Monica's awesome vocals...a bit devilish on this tune. Again...Monica & William soo exploring the many gifts they possess as artists.

This is an A+ album...it's a full story and a complete package by this veteran duo.
