Gothminister is gearing up for their full release sometime in 2003. They have already released two CD singles. Their latest CD single is "Devil", with has 4 tracks. "Devil" is a powerful mix of gothic and industrial metal. "Devil" has crunching guitars, and programming to give it a dark edge. The vocals are deep and dark, and have a lot of energy brewing, especially during the strong chorus of "Meet the Devil", and I also like the more gothic vocal side of the song where the vocals are more deep. When you think of Gothminister, you should think of Rob Zombie meets NIN and Korn, but with a more unique gothic approach and background. Gothminister's music is strong, and can be danceable at the same time. On this CD single, you will also hear a remix of "Devil" by Icon Of Coil. I feel that this single is a good showing of what to come, but of the two CD singles released, I feel that the other one was catchier. I would give this a B-, as the other single I would give them an A-.
