With so many EBM bands around in the electro music scene, it is confusing to find artists who sound unique and who are not imitators. Unfortunately, Inertia falls under that list. I have heard Inertia's music before and was familiar with the bands sound. The group consists of Reza Udhin(vocals/music), Alexys B(backing vocals) and Andrew Trail(music/programming). For their latest album Black Ice Impact, the band seems tohave not made any progress. On this album it is the same club style beat on each track. Not to say that this is a bad album, there are plenty of club worthy tracks for any DJ to spin. As for me, I like to hear diversity on a album. What I found odd was how some tracks on this album somewhat reminded me older KMFDM, as the case by tracks like"hypno suck" and "seven sin VII". The vocals tend to get a little redundant on each track.I don't know why didn't use Alexys B as a lead vocalist rather than a background singer. For the rest of this album, it is decent, but that is pretty much all to say about it. HopefullyInteria will evolves thier sound on thier next album.
