Industrial/Dark Electro-pop veterans Decoded Feedback have been receiving rave reviews for their 2005 release entitled “Combustion”. This review will be no different. This writer was able to see why it has been well received upon listening to the album. It opens with the album title track “Combustion” which does the job in getting the listener interested. It moves on to many more solid compositions that the deep-dark voice of lead vocalist Marco Biagiotti seem to captivate you and take the musings exactly where they need to go . It was refreshing to hear softer synth-lines through out the album which steers away from the traditional metal-on-metal pounding Industrial/Dark Electro-pop sound however, still maintaining enough of the harder and darker spirit to give the fundamental Industrialist their fix. They did a great job in combining both elements very well. From the cover-art to production, “Combustion” is a very solid offering and will fit very well in any electronic music listener’s collection.
