This EBM outfit from Ft. Lauderdale returns with their second full length album “The False memory”.  Staying true to form, Retractor deliver harsh and dark sounding tracks as they continue to push forward down the avenue of electro/industrial sounds despite the demise of the their former record label “Black Flames Records” of Poland. I’m sure Europeans are going gaga about this release. It strikes you as an album that would likely come out of Germany. It is safe to say that it is NOT from Europe but, it got there as quickly as it could. While this album is not known for being groundbreaking, it is certain that it has already dispelled many stereo-types. No official word yet, if the band will be touring out there to promote this release.
