“In my time of Dying”, the 3^rd full length album release from Norway’s trio Pride and Fall. Dark, edgy and ambient remain the proper adjectives in describing the elements of a release from the band with lyrics that depict pain, bitter endings, lack of control. However, this is by far their most polished album to date. The intro paints the moods as it takes you to the song “The Painful Regret”. Many great tracks follow such as “Adored”, “Burning Faith”, and the brilliantly crafted title track “In my Time of Dying” proved itself fitting to close out the album. The can be no accusations of Pride and Fall borrowing anything from VNV nation with this release. It stands alone and pushes itself further along the dark path of their first two releases.
