Enter the Unknown

Cogaahan Records

By Julie Johnson

Enter the Unknown is upbeat electronic music that has beautiful melodies. The programming is excellent, and is very strong. This is powerful EBM music that you should enjoy. The melodies circle, and loop all around. It is perfect for dancing. One of the things about this CD is it more focused on the music. There are only a couple of songs that have lyrics and sung by guest vocalist Frank J. Freda, and the music is composed by R.W. Beall who is Simulator. The vocals are great, and flow well with the music, especially in "The Ghost of You". The music is very calming, and could give the feel of hallucination within the dreamy arrangements. You can definitely hear a lot of Depeche Mode and And one influence within the music of Simulator. One of my favorite tracks is "Divided", it has more darker feel, and thick circling beats, and more bass tones. "Revelation", is another stand out track that moves fast, and is great for any dance club. This track has a lot of life to it. "Illusion" is another song that is high energy, and smooth grooves for with excellent movement. A very strong release for Simulator.
