Monica and William came into the upstairs gig room. It was after 11pm. I had been chatting with very sweet merch boys Alex and David(see photo). I introduce myself to William (he hugs me) and then Monica(hugs too). Soo sweet. I am soo excited. Faith and The Muse is a 5 piece band-live. They are all very talented musicians and play multi instruments. Their energy...fantastic. The turnout...nice. It was a pleasure to have promoted their show...the reward meeting Monica and William and hearing them live! The tour- to promote their latest release- The Burning Season. A great album. (see review and interview here at Graveconcerns) During the gig there were drum and replacing William's guitar string technicalities. Did that stop FATM...no way...Monica and bassist Cindy did 2 duets. Outstanding. I was smack upfront and I did not stop dancing. What a treat to see them play after being a fan all these yrs. Monica does Kate Bush justice with the classic "Running up that Hill"...a personal fave of mine since age 10. Some of the songs they played: Silver Circle, Whispers in your ear, Failure to thrive, burning Season, all lovers lost(where they all drummed!!!).

After the show...I chatted downstairs with Monica and got a picture of she, William and I for GC. Monica and William are real, warm, and you can tell that they love what they do. They glow up on stage and Monica's pipes...they are as gorgeous live. Certainly one of the best female voices in the last 15 yrs to spring up. Just beautiful and natural. It was a pleasure and a joy to meet a band that I truely admire. Thanks for the dedication from the stage Monica and William...that rocked my world. xoxo
