The first debut release from Poland's own Caberet. The members are Jaroslaw Pawlik and Michal Bienick. "Homophobia" is an indeed tight album. Each track on disc is very well received and excellent. Caberet will take you on a journey with their smooth vocals and electro-pop alternative style. A well deserved applause this band get from me. Some of the tracks may sound on the line of Depeche Mode "Ultra" and "Songs Of Faith and Devotion", but they found their own path to be creative and unique. Mind blowing satisfy and refreshing beautiful and strong arrangement and composition. Vocals are warm and soothing to listen transparent. All song don't sound the same. Some tracks are danceable, moody, and mid-tempo. Heart-felting paino accompaniment pieces. Favorite outstanding tracks "Be On Standby", "Song For Berlin", "Electric Chair Song", the dance tracks "Devil Is Dancing, "Rain On My Skin," "Homophobia (Number 9)", and the instrumentation of "Angel Theme". A loveable artsy pop with some remembrances back to the 80's era. Discover the majestic beauty of the band's music and lyics that will make you crave for more.
