All I have to Give

Synthphony Records

by Julie Johnson 8/28/01

Shades of Grey turn on the fun with the CD titled," All I have to Give". This is there latest recording. "All I have to give is a strong track with great pop melodies. Again they create infectous dance grooves to get the feeling right. The Lyrics seem to have a personal touch which makes the song standout. The best part on this CD is that they have included mixes of this song. One of my favorites would the "All I have to Give" (Intact Surrender mix)It is a must hear on the CD. I also really liked "pure". This is more of a synthpop ballad in the style of classic Depeche Mode. Sometimes I wondered if it was Dave Gahan singing? "Pure" also had two mixes that were very enjoyable. "Pure" Monopoly Dark Mix was my favorite and probably the stronger of the two. Higher danceable, and hit the spot. "Broken Dreams" was the last track and seemed to bemore experimental for them. DJ Ram also shows up on this CD, and I am going to let you check that for yourself. "All I have to Give is what synthpop is all about. This is a memorable CD in the Synthpop world.
