Electro-pop lovers, beware: here comes the first single of Alfa Matrix's new promising discovery: MONDTRÄUME. On "Life Is Short", the Spanish duo reveals a modern synth pop style with strong club appeal and a touch of darkness reinforced by Damasius' unique voice that adds a unique emotional touch of romance and despair to the compositions. A beautiful and poignant teaser before the release of their forthcoming debut album "Empty" that will appeal to all fans of bands like WOLFSHEIM, NAMNAMBULU, MELOTRON or yet BEBORN BETON. The single also features a club mix of the title song by COSMIC ARMCHAIR while ELECTRO SPECTRE gave it a more laid back pop touch. TERROLOKAUST gives a dark-electro touch to the single with their remix on the great B-side track "Parasite"… A band to check out urgently!

Like a breath of fresh air this is vibrant and powerful the dark edged beating rhythmically wraps itself around the ears and weaves a hypnotic master piece that is very poignant in delivery.

The vocal monotone connects straight to the aural cavities with a rhythmic and rapacious gallop entwined with an ambient swell of harsh beats – make no mistake this is a sure fire dance track with addictiveness not far behind.

With dark atmospheric ambience the slow brooding smoulders under a dark cloaked vocal. It lures using a slow and tentative embrace but still has crashing tendencies to power sonically to the ears and reaches the heart taking it prisoner with its haunting melodic gait.
