Reviews CD Reviews Synthpop, New Wave Thermostatic- Humanizer

Artist: Thermostatic

Album: Humanizer

Thermostatic’s album, “Humanizer” is a real piece of work! The music is a mix of synthpop/electropop and Sid with a female vocalist. For all of you who aren't as geeky as me and don't know what Sid is, Sid is a music chip that can be found inside of commodore 64 computers. Now, with all that info out of the way, “Humanizer” is a great album combined by great melodies and steady drumbeats a companied by soft heartwarming lyrics. This is an album for both dance floors and for listening to at home. Thermostatic really stands out compared to other bands in this genre. It is like a mix of Welle Erdball and Universal Poplab but with a distinct sound. “Harmonizer” makes me feel both nostalgic and happy. The two songs you should listen to are “Tonight” and “Unreal Dimensions”, which are two real party starters.
