Reviews CD Reviews Synthpop, New Wave Mach Fox- Build it Down

Artist: Mach FoX
Title: Build it Down (Digital)
Label: The Family Records

Mach FoX, Miss Karen, and D-BOT are three gifted artists who've successfully meshed their talents with superior results---Mach FoX, a band well deserving of praise and quick attention for their contributions to the music scene of electro/punk and glam---they are REALLY good folks---man, are they REALLY good! (:

“Build it Down”, this song is so incredible, and the riffs are unstoppable and gorgeous---I get such chills from it, that my skin flashes blue---the riffs are some of the most original and best sounds I’ve have heard in awhile. Mach’s voice is deeply alluring and darkly intoxicating, and Miss Karen’s is so dreamy and sensuous. And D-BOT on bass cuts it so effortlessly---like a skilled surgeon. Truly sensational artistry on this track (and album) I LOVE it! Other brilliant songs are “Like Clover”, “The Smile that Killed” “Teena Tonight” and ”All Day and All of the Night”, their phenomenal take on The Kinks classic, is colored with a mixture of intensely dark-electro beats, and wickedly sexy vocals, which sank right into my brain like a beautiful trance of haunting images. Magnificent!

Mach FoX; take them to the dance floor! And I’m so looking forward to following their career. Hope you will too.
