After a long silence and the blessing from former frontman Kurt Harland; Insoc are back with a revamped line-up. Newcomers Christopher Anton and Sonya Meyers team up with the techno granddaddies Paul Robb and James Cassidy to create their newest release “Synthesizer”. Vocalist Christopher Anton does a very good job establishing himself vocally. He did not try and imulateKurt in anyway which made this writer take him very seriously. He clearly didn’t have to! His vocals were absolutely amazing; and with Robb’s superb production and substantial songwriting abilty ; They were nothing short of spectacular in putting this into the album itself. Songs like “Burning Bridges”, “Back in the Day”, and “Werk It” are well-crafted and a lot of fun. Sonya Meyers gives the band new energy and provides great backing vocals which have been missing since the departure of Amanda Kramer. Another great find was “Run Away” which epitomizes the greatness of the album.
