Pounding beats, scraping and scratching sounds, industrial soundscapes, well placed samples, industrial dance mayhem. All words make up the aural spectrum which NOISUF-X put together. This project differs from the main project X-Fusion (put it backwards and you get… guess what) since there’s no vocals, just instrumental tracks. The latest release, Voodoo Ritual, is a beating mania that leaves you with restless legs, to say at least. It’s hard not to move and twitch while listening to this 15 track album. Usually instrumental albums bore me out, but Jan manages to keep it interesting with varied sounds and samples. A great mix between noise, techno and industrial that could make people sweat to death on the dance floor.
