The Complex is Victor Fritz and Matt V-Christ, their album “Machine Era is flashy, fast, and danceable; aggressive, moody and intrusive. Vocally strong, and creative in sounds and storytelling, “Machine Era” by The Complex is worth exploring.
“Paralyzing” is such a ferrous song; so much so, that this particular track has undertones of Marilyn Manson’s music personality tearing through it---I love it!
“Behind Closed Doors” a sensuous fantasy of gothic sounds and images; music that speaks in black, silver, grey and while colors dancing in the mist of an enchanted forest at the peek of its darkening curse.
“The Cycle” racing into the blackness of the unknown; blinking lights, rain-drenched streets, heartbeats escalating, steam pockets spraying up from sewers---a continuing journey told through its music.
