If you read my review of Project Pitchfork’s release of the Feel! single, you know that I went from pretty hateful to actually looking forward to the release of Dream, Tiresias! So, how did it turn out?
Project Pitchfork is always able to create a very unique sound and there’s no difference here. They have in a very playful way put together great and interesting sounds that leave a fresh feeling. All the songs are to be seen as different dreams, so, are they passionate wet dreams or scary bone shivering nightmares?
Believe it or not, but I’m actually pretty pleased with it. “If I Could”, “Nasty Habit”, “The Tide”, “The Promise” and the single “Feel!” are all great songs and instead of something mass-produced for the electroheads it’s filled with soul and thought. At first you are a bit confused of how things are put together, but if you give it some time and get used to the playfulness, you are sure going to find some sweet tasting composing in this 60 min long album.
Project Pitchfork has regained my trust.
