Back in the days I really loved Project Pitchfork. Corps D’Amour was a truly great EP and still is. The band released so many great albums that are special to me, but 2002 something happened; they released Inferno. I remember clearly when I did a review of that disgrace, I really hated it and it destroyed my view of the band in some sense. After that I have only listened to their old albums and refused to listen to any new releases, I didn’t want to make matters worse.

But after seven years I think it’s time to give it another try with their brand new EP called Feel! which a release from their forthcoming album Dream, Tiresias! It was with great scepticism I started to listen, but gladly I was surprised. “Feel!” is actually a pretty good song.

The EP only consists of the album version of “Feel!” and remixes of the same song. At first you find it pretty odd that bands like [SITD], Die Krupps and NOISUF-X have done remixes since Project Pitchfork is more softer than the mentioned bands, but the hardest act of them, NOISUF-X, has actually done the best version of the track, even better than the original.

I really hope that the album Dream, Tiresias! will regain my respect for Project Pitchfork and Feel! was a great start.
