A few weeks back I contacted Chicago based label Killing Jar and requested a promotional CD from one of their artists Twenty Ripped Angel. When they sent the CD, they also sent an extra added little treat from a band called The Kunst Conspiracy.Their CD is titled "A Head without a Clown" and I soon found out this Chico, CA Goth/Industrial band knows how to write some serious sick tunes. Needless to say this CD is a permanent fixture in my stereo. I found no tracks to fall short of absolute terror. Any fan of this style of music will find this band's songs chaotic and flesh ripping. The Kunst Conspiracy has managed to fuse together thrash metal guitar, distorted drums, screeching synth lines and raspy overdriven vocals. Songs like "Trigger", The Experimental synth heavy "Lilith" and one of my favorites "Scumsuck" are guaranteed to drive you insane. I seriously recommend anyone into this style of music to pick up a copy of "A head without a Clown" by The Kunst Conspiracy. Their label also informed me the band is in the studio working hard on a new release due out in early 2006. I can't wait to hear it and I'm looking forward to seeing these guy's live. You can check them out on www.killingjarrecords.com and https://www.myspace.com/thekunstconspiracy
