Toxic Holocaust is a one man assault on your senses by Joel Grind. Blasting his way out of Delaware, Joel Grind plays a blackened thrash metal attack that is sure to conjure up memories of the 80's. Toxic Thrash Metal is a compilation of unreleased tracks and some brutal covers of Bulldozer, Megadeth, Onslaught, Destruction and Nunslaughter. Joel Grind's vocals are fucking killer and the music is sick. I can’t believe this is a one man band! Grind’s guitar work is excellent and razor sharp. He may be too young to remember the 80’s but it definitely lives on in him in spirit. If you miss the old days of thrash then you will like this album. It isn’t the greatest thrash album ever, but it is far from the worst and it’s really worth picking up. If you think metal means denim, spikes, leather and beer then “Toxic Thrash Metal” is for you.
