Artist: Putrid Inbred
Album: Scavenger
Label: Shiver Records

I was never really a big fan of death/grind to tell you the truth but, the new release from Belgium's sick fucks Putrid Inbred is pretty damn good! Released on Shiver Records, "Scavenger" is 14 tracks of sheer brutality. Grind always has great song titles and with track names like "Stillborn Stew", "Clit Kebab" and "The Art of Cooking Human Kidneys" this album carries on the tradition.  With it's dual vocal attack by Steven and Peutie, this album is filled with all the piq squeals and death grunts your heart could hope for. Lieven just rips through every track on guitar and with Kristof beating the drums into submission and Mike's thumping bass, "Scavenger" has all the ingredients necessary to keep all fans of Carcass & Impetigo happy. Now, I won't be turning into a death/grind fan anytime soon, but I do really like this album. If you have even the tiniest bit of grindcore interest in your heart, I'd say definitely check this one out!
