Angels of Liberty channel the greats in their own way. Sure, it makes us thank Sisters of Mercy, The Wake and a nod to Roz. Voe's haunted synth rock house is so danceable on: "Black Madonna". "One Step Closer" creeps up on you like a bat and the dark rock dancing continues. You will agree that Voe and band are ready for a full length release they are so good. Candelabras are swinging and the Mission'esque "Monster in Me" reiterates how much I love this band and their musicianship. There are not many bands out at the moment who have this retro goth vibe and ANGELS OF LIBERTY are here to keep the home fires alive and burning with their unddad sound. This is band is a keeper.
