Artist: Beati Mortui

CD Title: All But Dreams Will Die

Label: Danse Macabre / Alive!

Reviewer: Rhys Stevenson

Date: 5-31-10

Finnish industrial gothic quartet Beati Mortui unleashes the darkness of the Finnish Goth scene via their debut album ‘All But Dreams Will Die’.Scintillating gothic dance tunes weaved with soothing and chilling female vocals which are backed upon the dark aurora of the band, mixing cyber music with dark atmospheric and visual style, this quartet of industrial Finns will almost certainly cause a storm in the underground music scenes. With catchy tunes and a sense for industrial glam, these Finns will make their music heard and drive Finland into darkness, from which fellow Goth countries: Estonia, Russia, Germany, Benelux and UK will envy for.I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we see this act playing at major festivals like the M’era Luna and the Gotik Wave Treffen, they deserve to and with this album, their fan base should grow dramatically, the darkness of gothic beauty just got a lot more darker, thanks to Beati Mortui.
