Reviews CD Reviews Gothic Sera de Morte- Witches Dance

Artist: Sera De Morte
CD Title: Witches Dance
Label: Vador
Reviewer: Jules Cohen
Date: 4/4/04

A campy dance goth cd. Opens with a song called " Hello, hello". This song is reminiscent of the 80s. The lyrics are silly, but fun at the same time. A constant ringing phone and programmed haunting synth. (standard electric guitar too) A complete 80s throw back. Fun. In its mundacity, it's exceptionally British. Sappy sweet "Down to the River" follows. "Witches Dance" is very Pet Shop Boys. Each song could be from a different 80s movie. It's fun...but nothing memorable. I think my favorite is :hello, hello" because it makes me laugh.
