"A best of compilation of sorts from this veteran German Goth band w/ intense & extremely deep songs that capture the traditional sound of Gothic rock blending in charismatic male vocals w/ their own attitudes & a heartfelt, dizzy refined pop vibe that roams throughout the entire disc. Delicate, surreal guitars drift from straight ahead unnerving Gothic rock to drum pounding post exploration delving into romantic, new wave era Goth up until more frenzied, schizophrenic shards of glass. Yet while sung w/ English & German words their seductive edge is constantly & totally on point. Personal favorites include, "Cupido", "Reconsider?", "Mein Wirres Kind", "Addicted", "Brainsong", "Always on the Brink", "Death Passion", "Freight Train", "Pump", "Epiwaltz", "The Stolen Photograph", "The Creatures are having fun w/ the Hollywood Dreamblaster", & "Frozen in Hesitation". This cd is highly recommended to all fans of excellent quality Gothic rock that holds no barred. I'd have to say they're sort of a cross between Marquee Moon, The Horatii, & Silence Gift. This rocks!!"
