| Artist: Naevus Nothing like hearing make-up imaginary stories in neo-folk songs. Naevus, a London based band will tripped you out with their funny lyrics. Some of the tracks have a Death in June feel. All 14 tracks are very to enjoy, but some of the lyrics can be confusing just figuring out what's it talking about. My favorites are "While You Sleep", a 9 minute track that have a sound of a glass; "Chairs Are Men", "Visions, Rushed", a beautiful melancholic acoustic piece with keyboard that's more like a walz tune with the toilet flushing effects; "The Tide", "Untold", "Food's Journey", a song about how food turns into a bowel movement after eaten; "A Lesson", "For The Weak", and "Waste." A sense of humor this band have. If ever having a bad day, I guarantee their cd "Behavior" will put a smile on your face and have you laughing. Every now and then, we all need a good laugh. |
