“Reflections of the Soul”, the new album by Mark Mendieta, offers listeners an hour’s worth of New Age/ Ambient music to be enjoyed when quite moments are needed to wash away the day, and perhaps, to bring a sense of comfort and resilience within the hours of nighttime when, for many, this is when we reflect upon how our life’s goals personally, spiritually, and professionally are progressing. Have a glass of Cognac, red wine, a cup of coco with an extra dab of whipped cream, or a calming cup of herbal tea, and get cozy by the fireplace, or, in the place where you feel at ease. Even lovelier would be the sound of rain tapping on your windowsills.

“Within A Sigh”, “The Winds of Silence”, “Solidarity” (very pretty piece) and “Point of Notion” are my favorites. Let your soul awakening you to what it is you’ll need to reflect upon, while listening to the personal journeys that lead Mark toward his musical discoveries in "Reflections of the Soul".
