It would be fair to say that this album is just as diverse as the creators mind. You always have pre-conceptions before listening to an album, I try to be as thorough as I can on everything I am asked to review, but for this album I had no pre-conceptions whatsoever. I don’t know half the time what awaits my aural judgement – but this album is deliciously hungry for your attention – put it that way...

Transition Clinic Awakening throwing out some eerie sounds that reverberate and disappear like a plume of smoke. This is just a short intro that offers a glimpse into the creative mind of renowned Dawn of Ashes drummer Sean Von Helvete. Be prepared to be awakened!

Orphans in Coma This track bursts into a ferocious frenzy of madness before introducing a harsh whispered vocal amid some juicy melodic rhythms that are ripe for industrial dancers everywhere. The guitar solo was expertly executed by Alex Crescioni.Something to Know You By is a phenomenal recording with its bouncing rambunctious dance rhythms and deep ravenous beats. It is exciting to the point of being orgasmic. The vocals blend extremely well to a rampage of deep melodic hues and really I could go on about this one track for a lot longer – there is so much inside this one alone.

Orchid Incestus holds a darker approach although it too has deep riveting chasms of rhythms that explode ferociously to a vocal that levels between harsh and not so harsh. It is cloaked in ambiance and sinister urgency and goes a long way to bringing the thoughts and ideas of Sean Von Helvete to life.

Red Redeemer (where the world becomes skin) is purely demonic. Everything about it screams evil. Satan literally speaks volumes though these ambient, noisy monotonous flanks of rhythm. The ghostly voices in the background serve their purpose for creating a malevolent backdrop to the unholy sounds resonating from the speakers.

Fleshing Wheel holds plenty of passion which is boiled to the point of saturation. The sinister knocking timed to perfection serves to give the listener a feeling of being utterly possessed by a rhythm that has exceeded its boundaries and then some, with an equally disturbing vocal.

Through the lust of Flies feels like the blackened breath of an angry dragon seething over the female sample that suddenly slows. This track actually breathes it is so alive and will send the listener into a parallel universe of utter madness that they may not want to return from.

Tender Petal is complex and brooding it has more twists than a snake. The noises – well scratching has me looking around the room to see where the noise is emanating from – it oozes from the speakers like black oil and engulfs the listener choking and then paralyzing its victims, seeming also to mock them.

Something to know you by (Iszoloscope Remix) Again with an almighty breath of seething – this time – ambiance, it suddenly ignites into a marching drum beat that has no time for anyone as it batters its way through a chunky rampage of harsh vocals.

Something to know you by (Ruinizer Remix) Ear piercing noises sabotage the aural and takes them hostage in this violent outburst of hard ambitious rhythms that leave you in no doubt – it is out to conquer and as the dance rhythm takes over so your body will be driven to obey its every command.

Something to know you by (Remember me Remix – by Tactical Module) A stop starting effect leaves you on the edge of your seat waiting for the fracas to explode, the anticipation runs high as it builds with a constant beat but betrays the listener with a falsehood as it doesn’t reach the awaited peak of expectation, which is a bit of a let-down.

To Sum up:

A total feast of dark electronic delights is the way I would sum this album up. With its intensity and imposing vocals that can still be described as subtle in places, oozing intermittent jabs of rhythm and obnoxious beats.

With something that I can only describe as a toxic twist of adrenaline this album delivers. It’s unpredictable and diverse and offers plenty to get your ears around and I will go as far to say it is so aurally addictive.

It deloves without mercy through the mind and paints an exotic glow of concentrated colours that leaves the listener spellbound and with conclusion reached – this is one hellish album for the electronic fanatic!
