German industrial master Jan L. and his brainchild X-Fusion have just released the latest effort Ultima Ratio. Starting the album off is an instrumental track entitled “The Calm before the Storm”. It is a very dark and clever arrangement that could never prepare you for what is to come. The remaining album tracks completely stomp and are very brilliantly arranged. Stand out tracks include Leave no Seed, Burn Down the flags, and the album’s title track Ultima Ratio which vows “revenge”! This is a great find for any EBM and industrial enthusiast. This release is available in two formats. You can get a regular copy with the thirteen tracks in a standard jewel case or you may purchase the limited two CD digipak with six extra bonus tracks.
